Lifelong friend of the bride! These two have a lot of stories! Virginia is a VA Tech undergrad and grad and recently married Justin Stehle in Jackson Hole. Justin and Geeva (childhood nickname) live in Charlotte, NC. Go Hokies!!!

Sister of the Groom. She is a Princeton graduate and recently moved from San Fransisco to Brooklyn, NY with her dog, Louie. Go Tigers!!!

Friend of the Bride. After attending UVA, Annie met Griffin while working at the same small marketing company in Richmond. They were fast friends and have both happily moved on to their next gigs. They are still best buddies, and so are their dogs- Sadie and Coco! Go Hoos!

Friend of the Bride! After graduating from Virginia Tech, Carlyne was Griffin’s roommate in Richmond with Natalie Power (shoutout Nat!!). Griffin and Carlynne share a love of dogs and her dog, Todd, was Griffin’s loyal coworker and buddy when she worked from their Richmond home before the Pandemic! She recently got engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Oliver! Go Hokies!

Currently living in the Tampa area with his wife, Paula, Austin has been a lifetime friend of the groom since meeting as neighbors when they were just toddlers. As close friends, they have spent countless hours hanging out together at the Marlin Club or with friends. Go Hokies!!!

Michael, twin brother of Wesley, and Greg first met as young kids at the Marlin Club in Chesapeake. Living just down the street from each other, Greg grew up at the Wynn’s house as much as his own. Michael currently lives in Tampa with his wife Julia and their two dogs Georgie and Theo. Michael attended Florida State for his undergraduate degree. Go Seminoles!

Twin brother of Michael, though you might never know it. Wesley along with Austin, Michael, and Greg, grew up as neighborhood friends in Chesapeake. They are very close and Greg has enjoyed many a visit to see Wes in Chicago. Wesley attended University of Miami for his undergraduate degree. Go Hurricanes!

GROOMSMAN

Jake and Greg met in 2018 when they became roommates and coincidentally graduate school lab mates at Virginia Tech. Over the next few years, and during the pandemic, Jake and Greg became close friends through camping, hiking, and weekend adventures. Jake is a double hokie and a doctor, completing his undergraduate and PhD degrees at Virginia Tech. Go Hokies!

GROOMSMAN

Devin and Greg met freshman year of undergraduate at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland as roommates. Devin and Greg became close friends as teammates on the RMC baseball team. Devin currently lives in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. Go Yellow Jackets!

Eileen is a friend of the bride and the groom. Greg first met Eileen when she started in the same VT graduate program and worked at the same research institute on campus. Griffin and Eileen were fast friends, and the three of us, along with Mary and Jake, have been on many adventures all over the state! Before grad school at Virgina Tech, Eileen attended Northwestern for undergrad. Go Wildcats!

Mary is a friend of the bride and groom. G&G met Mary through her fiancé Jake, a groomsman at the wedding and one of Greg’s grad school roommates while he was at Virginia Tech. Mary quickly became a great friend to us on her own as well! Mary and Griffin share a deep passion for books and animals :)! Mary and Jake recently moved from Blacksburg to Philly. She attended VT for Undergrad and Emory & Henry for OT school. Go Hokies!

Family friend and one of Monique’s soulmates! Lara and Monique attended the University of Southern California. Soon after, Lara founded LäraBar! Recently, Lara completed her graduate studies in Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. Lara and Monique love adventure and embark on a 120-mile trek this July. Prayers accepted!!! Cousin of the Bride. Jack is in the 8th grade at Richmond Collegiate. He loves baseball, surfing, and spending time with his friends.

Oliver is a family friend and son of our officiant, Lara. He lives in Denver and is a high school freshman at Kent Denver School. He plays basketball, tennis, snowboards, and drums—not to mention his Lego game, which is on fire!

FLAG BEARER

Cousin of the Bride. Oliver is the son of James (Scott’s brother) and Sydney Adams. Oli is in his street sign, flag, and monster truck era. Oliver loves his parents but looks up to his Dad and wants to be just like him.

FLOWER GIRL

Cousin of the Bride and sister of Oliver Adams. Scarlett is obsessed with Disney princesses, especially Rapunzel, Cinderella and Frozen! If you want to win her heart, give her something pink. Her favorite people are her dog, Pippa, and her brother, Oliver.

FATHER OF THE GROOM

Chip enjoys biking, golfing, and any chance he gets to go back to his alma mater, Virginia Tech. He and his wife Beckie live in Chesapeake and make it to every Tech home game despite living almost five hours away! Go Hokies!

MOTHER OF THE GROOM

Beckie enjoys Bunko, golfing, and the annual family visits to National Parks. She met her husband, Chip, while they were in school at Virginia Tech and enjoys traveling back to Blacksburg with him for games in the fall. Go Hokies!

FATHER OF THE BRIDE

Scott is always happy. He is a true Virginia gentleman, a doting father to his two daughters, and a real estate zealot. Scott loves golf and any sport played by UVA. Scott and Griffin share a similar personality and a love of music. Go Hoos!

MOTHER OF THE BRIDE

Since retiring in June 2023, Monique has enjoyed spending time with friends, the outdoors, traveling, and learning Italian. Griffin and Monique have shared many fond memories of playing volleyball, hiking mountains, and walking the dogs! Non vedo l’ora di ballare in Virginia. Go Trojans!!!

UNCLE OF THE BRIDE

Monique’s baby brother, Peter, is 12 years her junior and is Monique’s lifeline. He lives in Utah with his wife, Jessica, three beautiful daughters, a son, and two amazing granddaughters. If you want to belly laugh, Pete is your guy.

PUP OF HONOR

Sadie loves cuddling with her family and is generally not impressed with Gary or Gustav. She is a kissing bandit and a big personality trapped in a 20 lb. frame.

BEST CAT

Gary is obsessed with birds and with “assisting” (eating any scrap he can get his tiny paws on) in the kitchen when Griffin cooks dinner.

HONORED FLOOFER

Gustav is the Adams family dog. 130 lbs of love, and his favorite girlfriend is 20 lb, Sadie!!! Gustav loves people, treats, and his doggie friends. It wouldn’t be a paw-ty without Gus!
